Before you go and start cursing because your against it, try to think of the dynamics of human nature.

Some people do not have kids for various of reasons, so pets are like a appropriate substitute. The paradox of humanity, is the more we try to love the whole world, the less we really achieve in our own backyard.

We do what makes us happy and justify our course of action with other good deeds. Some will people will still argue that buying a soda pop for a pooch, is inconsiderate and selfish. On the flip side, human studies have shown that dogs are not only good for our health but we live longer with their companionship.

My personal opinion is I am not sure if our little furry friends will live longer if we spoil them with pet soda or pet bottled water. It all comes down to personal choice, religious views and government regulation. So each to his own conscious for now.
