One year seems a lifetime in politics, Julia Gillard believes that the “education revolution” involves McDonalds and borrowing heaps of money.
“There are no advertisements. Once you go into it, there’s no reference to McDonald’s, there’s no branding, so I don’t see it as advertising at all. It’s simply stating that we’re providing it, which we are, and we’re very proud to do that,” she said.

How slow are all levels of Australian government to catch up on the open source software alternative, once again the so called “wanna be” society is behind other nations. NSW wants to offer 197,000 secondary school students wireless-enabled netbooks that should run on open-source software. When these students discover the open source world they will expose themselves to endless possibilities of business innovation and competitiveness.
The risk a generation of youngsters growing up on a small dose of open source software, is like sentencing them to a Microsoft mortgaged life.

Notepad++ is a free source code editor (and Notepad replacement), which supports several programming languages, running under the MS Windows environment. I love it and highly recommend giving it go!

FastStone Image Viewer is one of the best free image viewers, it helps me to get organised and also cuts down the time it takes on some projects. I like the fact it is actually easy to use and easy on system resources, it has no database type feature like google’s picasa. But it is has better features.

Comodo has developed a free Anti-Malware software, if it is anything like the firewall we can expect a superior product.
I use and currently recommend Comodo products, this firewall software company sure knows how to please and satisfy fussy computer users.
I like the ease of use and logical interface design that Comodo offers, they also rate on top in international security lab tests. My choice of Virus, Malware and firewall software is aligned to these benchmarks.
