As a brand it is sinister, subversive and underground. Monster has launched all over the world and the Monster teams have a direct presence in over 30 countries with developed markets.

The Role
Purpose:
The Regional Manager will play a major role in the successful launch and rollout of Monster Energy in New Zealand. In supporting our appointed distributor, the RM will drive the acquisition of new retail and work with assigned distributors to deliver profit goals and yearly sales.
Specific Responsibilities will include:
Develop a written Annual Business plan for each Distributor containing volume, distribution and performance objectives.
Monitor each distributor results against the business plan on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Develop/Prepare sales presentations material for distributors and retail accounts, utilizing Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.
Engage directly with retailers to sell in the Monster Energy message and the brand to spec Carry stock to fulfill first orders (and as required).
Communicate directly and frequently with distributor partner to exchange crucial customer information.
Merchandise and erect POS in-store as planned.
Implement promotional program.
Complete weekly reports timely and accurately.
Maintain accurate records.
The Person:
Its simple, you MUST be the following: Motivated, Driven, Passionate, Competitive and Resilient with a desire to own the problem, own the solution, and own the reward!
You will understand relationships, selling and communicating, whether you learned it or were born with it. More than anything, you must want to live the brand and be the brand!
Other Requirements:
Ideally you will have sales experience in the drinks industry or at least within a disciplined FMCG company.
Full clean drivers license.
Fluency in English, especially business English.
Geographical knowledge of Auckland North and South Island.
IT literate and IT friendly.
Numeracy.
